Corrections Policy

Enable Research is committed to accuracy. We take our responsibility to publish reliable, evidence-based information seriously, and we recognise that errors can occur despite our best efforts. This policy sets out how we handle corrections and updates to published content.

Our Commitment to Accuracy

Before publication, all content on Enable Research is reviewed for factual accuracy, clarity and consistency with our Editorial Policy. We draw on authoritative primary sources and apply appropriate scrutiny to all data and claims we publish. However, if errors do occur, we are committed to addressing them promptly and transparently.

Types of Corrections

We distinguish between three types of amendment to published content:

Corrections – Where a factual error has been published, we will correct it as quickly as possible. A note will be added to the article stating that a correction has been made, the date of the correction, and the nature of the change. We do not silently alter published content to remove errors without disclosure.

Updates – Where information was accurate at the time of publication but has since changed due to new developments, policy changes or updated data, we may update the article to reflect the current position. Updated articles will carry an updated date alongside the original publication date.

Clarifications – Where reader feedback indicates that a passage is ambiguous or potentially misleading, even if technically accurate, we may add a clarification note to improve the reader’s understanding.

How to Report an Error

If you believe an article on Enable Research contains a factual error, outdated information or a misleading statement, we welcome your feedback. Please contact us via our Contact page and include the following:

  • The URL of the article in question
  • The specific passage you believe is incorrect
  • The correct information, with a source or evidence where possible

We will review all correction requests and respond within a reasonable timeframe. We will not always agree that a correction is warranted, but we will consider all submissions seriously and explain our reasoning where we decline to make a change.

Third Party Content

This policy applies to original content published by Enable Research. We are not responsible for errors in third party sources we have linked to or cited, though we will update our articles if we become aware that a cited source has been significantly revised or retracted.
